PYTHON BLACK HAT: BYOD - Ages 10-12: In the first lesson of the Python course, we will be learning about syntax, comments, keywords and debugging. They are the foundation of any programming language, basic or advanced.

GAME DESIGN: BYOD - Ages 7-12: Students learn basic video game coding concepts by making different types of games, including racing, platform, and launching.

ART: BYOD - Ages 7-12: Students create animations, interactive artwork, photograph filters, and other exciting, artistic projects using code.

STORYTELLING: BYOD - Ages 7-12: Students use code to tell fun and interactive stories. Storytelling emphasises creativity by encouraging students to tell a unique story each day.

INTRO TO SCRATCH: BYOD - Ages: 7-9 Students go on a first journey through Scratch with four fun projects that introduce the core elements of Scratch and foundational coding skills.

UNITY Essentials: BYOD - Ages 12-17: Designed for anyone new to Unity, this guided learning journey is your first step toward gaining the background, context, and skills you need to confidently create in the Unity Editor and bring your vision to life. Experience hands-on learning as you discover what’s possible with Unity and unlock free assets to support you in creating your best projects. Completing this Pathway will equip you with the foundation you need to further your learning and specialise in your area of interest.

UNITY Junior Programmer: BYOD - Ages 12-17: Learn about fundamental programming concepts such as variables, functions and basic logic through two practical projects.

UNITY VR: BYOD - Ages 12-17: Welcome to VR Development! This learning pathway is designed for anyone interested in learning to create experiences for VR. This pathway assumes a basic knowledge of Unity and basic knowledge of programming.

UNITY Creative Core: BYOD - Ages 12-17: Creative Core is your next step towards becoming a Unity creator. This learning path will teach you all the core elements you need to bring your imagination to life with Unity. Once you’ve completed Unity Essentials as an introduction to the fundamentals of Unity Editor, take this pathway to learn VFX, Lighting, Animation, Audio, UI and other creative skills, no programming required.

SWIFT UI : Learn how to use SwiftUI to compose rich views out of simple ones, set up data flow, and build the navigation while watching it unfold in Xcode’s preview. Drawing and Animation Discover how to draw shapes and paths to create a badge that you’ll animate, while also creating seamless transitions between views. App Design and Layout Explore the structure and layout of more complex interfaces built with SwiftUI. Framework Integration Use SwiftUI views together with the views and view controllers from platform-specific UI frameworks.

PYTHON. GREY HAT: BYOD - Ages 10-14: In this course, you’ll learn more advanced programming practices than in black hat. This course builds off the skills you’ve learned in hacker black hat so make sure you’re really comfortable with that content first. In this course, you’ll also be introduced to soft skills.

LITERATI LAB - AI ART MOBILE APP: Girls All Ages! ...Unlock your creativity in AI Art. Dive into cutting-edge tools and techniques, blending artistry with artificial intelligence for mesmerising digital masterpieces. Unleash your imagination today!

MOBILE APP BUILDER - 101: Make your own mobile apps using a blocks-based programming language. You access the program using a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari). With these beginner-friendly tutorials, you will learn the basics of programming apps for Android and iOS phones and tablets.

JAVASCRIPT BLACK HAT: JavaScript is one of the most used programming languages around the world. It’s used predominantly across the web both in the browser, and on the server. It also has all sorts of other uses, like making desktop and mobile apps. Games too! Students will learn the basics of Javascript and will complete 3 challenges: StoryLIne, Fizz Buzz Game & Make Smoothie. So what are you waiting for? Let’s get started!

FLOW21 AI LITERACY: Flow21 has been designed for students. Engage Your Own Personal Tutor Accelerate and have fun with your learning by accessing your own personal tutor, coach & mentor who speaks to you in your language, at your learning level and in your time. Your tutor can break down concepts for you and tell you how it relates to your interests and passions. We have our own special Coding Tutor called Flow.

HTML/CSS BLACK HAT: BYOD - Ages 10-14: In the first lesson of the HTML/CSS course, we will be learning HTML Tags, Divs, Attributes, Links/Navigation, Image and Styles. They are the foundation of any web markup language, used to create web documents / web pages.

HTML/CSS GREY HAT: BYOD - Ages 10-14: In this course, you'll learn CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). CSS is a language used to style HTML pages. CSS is what we use to add colour, to form layouts, change fonts and everything in between. CSS is what turns HTML into the beautiful web pages we see every day. In this course, you'll learn CSS Syntax, how to link HTML with CSS, text and font styling, Box Model, sizing and alignment as well as some challenges.

Then, team up with tech gaming studios to craft game and app prototypes for big-budget clients, presenting your innovations in just 8 weeks."

Depending on your child's level of experience and time at our CodeCamps, students learn the following technical skills whether it be visual or text coding in order of priority, starting with problem solving, debugging, decomposition, algorithms, loops, variables, conditional logic, operators and functions.

Our programs teach the all important soft skills such as team work, design & planning, communication, time management, critical thinking, presenting, conflict resolution.

SUPER IMPORTANT: Students must have access to an email account at all times. You will need a Google Account for Gmail. If you are under the age of 13 we suggest setting up a family account, you can allow your children access to this account while on camp and then you may change the password after if you wish.

Please don't forget your Username & Password for Gmail. Students can use their School Gmail accounts but must be able to access the emails.

Please make sure to write down your login details if you have existing accounts with Scratch, Tynker, Gmail etc. and put them somewhere safe and bring them with you.

Important Notice

Please remember to bring your laptop. You don't need anything special or high spec, just something less than 5 years old with internet access. iPads and tablets can be used, but we do suggest a laptop as best.
